The reson I am Avril Lavigne fan is because, well there are so many reasons. But this is my actual tale why. Ha-Ha!
In6 years old, I beleive it was 2004. And that was when Avril had released her 2nd album. And "My Happy Ending" was a really popular song. I had watched the music video adn really liked it. I had an ipod, and had some songs on there, but never really paid much attention to the artist, i was 6 so ya... haha.
Then when I turned 9 years old. I got my first sterio, I know right! LAME! but then avril had released
"The Best Damn thing" So I was like ya lets get this. Again still not really careing for the artist. (I just really liked the pink haha) So I was listening to the songs and loved them. I was still only 9 so I couldn't really relate to them, but I still liked them.
Then as I got older about 11 years old I think, I began haveing an intrest in music, and singing. Thats when I really picked up on Avril, ya. I used 2 of her songs as a demonstration in my vocal coaches class, I think it was "Hot" and "Innocence". She was like, "WOW! Avril Lavigne, you like her shes very... tough" and I said "Ya, I know, shes diffrent."
And sadly after a while I did get tired of "The Best Damn Thing" and moved on to "Under my Skin" and loved it and remembered all the songs by heart soon, and remembered "My happy ending" from when I was little. And I only owned those 2 albums for a while, and then actually lost them! Sorry Avril...
But then when I turned 12, befor emy birthday I bough "Under my Skin" and "Let Go" I was like "wow, she has changed alot!" But I still liked her. I loved the 2002 album,a dn 2004. But was actually hooked on "Under my skin"
I have been an Avril Lavigne fan for soooo long, and didn't even realize it. But now I do.
When Goodbye Lullaby came out, and I heard what the hell on the radio I was "ahhhh thats avril! dad thats avril!" and so I went on Itunes and there she was. I bought "what the hell, Everybody hurts, and wish you were here" and then got the Album! I was so excited.
I did notice that over the years, I really kept switching back and forth with Avril.
When I was little to know it went, Favorite Artist: Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, TheScorpions, and then back to Avril Lavigne.
Because her music never lets me down.
I plan to get the best Damn thing for my birthday in April.

I love Avril Lavigne, she truly just Inspires me. Shes not just an Idol to me, shes like apart of me. Her songs now Inspire me to be a Singer. I knew from only 5 years olf that I wanted to be a singer. And just like my Favorite artist it always came back to singing. I want to prove my point to friends, and just do something I enjoy.
Now that im older, her songs have soo much more meaning in them to me. Esspecially " My Happy Ending" I try to write songs like it, but nothing compares honestly, I would have wrote it the same way.
I have writeein 2 songs total in 2 years, on my own, and I love them they have so much menaing.
Avril's music inspires me, makes me happy, and just feel good. I know it sounds strange but sometimes whne im sad I listen to her to make the tears come out faster, because then I get happier.
Avril Lavigne: ou are apart of my life, a true inspiration,a nd is really hard to describe in words of how you make me feel and change as a better person! So thankyou so much.
(I actually learned that we smile (laughing and just smileing to smile) the excact same way, and we laugh the same way too!
People make fun of my life, but I just laugh back haha.
