Thanks for this year;s Christmas song.

I lost my nephew last May. He was/is the closest person to me ever in my life. I am a musician and usually have no problems with writing songs but this is too close. I can't even finish one verse of anything I try. Avril, your song "Wish you were here" does not fit me and my nephew perfectly but damn close enough. I can express myself in song this Christmas thanks to you and I am grateful.

If I may. Avril you should be glad that you never met my nephew or he would have changed your life. His IQ was 157 and he was so cool that so many of his friends came to his funeral that there was standing room only inside the large church, including the balcony, which they started worrying might collapse from all of the people, and there was also a large crowd outside that reached into the parking lot. A fitting testament to the great loss the entire world has suffered.
