I just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone on the forum. I'm glad to finally have gotten around to becoming a member of this site.

I've been a fan of Avril's since my young, impressionable teenage years and have stuck with her through everything. There are so many people who talk bad about the 'changes' that she goes through, but I feel that just speaks to her personality and how unafraid she is of being herself. Every type of music she has gone through has been done with a lot of feeling and emotion. She really is an amazing musician because of her ability to relate and succeed in everything she sets her mind to. She's been an inspiration to me to continue pursuing my life goals.

As for me, I'm a 23-year old guy who is in no way ashamed to be a fan of Avril's. People may give me crap for it, but I don't care. She's a natural talent and deserves a lot more respect than she gets. I'm currently working through my final year of college, majoring in Elementary Education and I love every minute that I get to work with kids. I think it's very cool that Avril's charity focuses on children that are in need because I feel that is something that can never be focused on enough and will always need more help. I hope that I can continue to make a difference in the lives of many people like Avril has done for so many years.
