Im a huge fan of Avril Lavigne because she is amazingly talented. I love her music style, her fashion sense, her personality and they way shes always herself and doesn't care what people think of her. I love her music, I've liked it ever since I was three years old and i'm now 12. I've liked her music for as long as I can remember, but I became obsessed with her and her music when I was eight. Everyone in my school, knows that I like Avril Lavigne. It makes me unqiue, because everyone else is into Katy Perry and Justin Bieber and all those pop singers, and then I like Avril Lavigne, a female punk rocker!
Avril helps me through tough times, I did a poster about Avril for my leadership homework. I've had problems with bullying, friends, love and life all throughout my life, and I have always thought about how Avril Lavigne doesn't care what people think of her and she is unique and she's herself, and she is talented, smart, funny and just plain amazing. So, I thought, why do I need to be worried about the way I look? or the way im not very sporty? Avril doesn't care and yet shes a HUGE Rock star. Since I realised that I have never had a problem with myself, and i'm not afraid to say that I love myself and who I am and have become.
I want to be like Avril Lavigne, and I think I am. Because, even though I love her music, style and how shes so amazingly awesome. I also like her for the more important reasons too, like how she's unique and happy with who she is. I love her for that.
Anyway, I'm a huge fan, I live in New Zealand and I am probably her BIGGEST FAN in New Zealand. I know so much information about her, I could write a book about her with direct quotes and loads of facts. At the start of the year, half of my class didn't know who she was but after spending a week with me, they all knew too much...haha People call me an 'Avril Geek', but I don't mind. Im proud of myself for being such a big fan. Everyone at my school has a different favourite singer every week, one week it will be Justin Bieber, then the next week Katy Perry and then Lady gaga. But in my case, I have had the same favourite singer (Avril Lavigne) for four years. Everyone says that its amazing.
I know I have been typing about Avril for a long time, but when I start writing about Avril. I can't seem to stop. I love Abbey Dawn, I have the party crasher dress, and I am really keen on buying the new 'Stop making sense' tank. I also love the perfumes that Avril designs. I am pretty much on board with any idea that Avril Lavigne comes up with. I love all of her music from the slow and mellow tracks like 'Goodbye, Innocence and When you're gone', and then I also love all the upbeat, Punk Rock tracks like 'Girlfriend, Bad Reputation and Sk8er boi'. I love all the music videos that Avril Lavigne has done, I love how she's not afraid to be herself, she will rock out on stage, and wear pink and green all through her hair and won't give a damn about who objects. But seriously? who would object. Just like Avril, I play guitar, bass, drums and I can sing. Im in two bands at the moment, and I love writing songs and listening to music.
My favourite Avril Lavigne songs of all time are 'Sk8er boi, What the hell, Im with you, Nobodys home and Remember When'. I can't wait til the new album comes out. Im going to buy it straight away. My teacher at school always say how I have to stop zoning out of class, and thinking about Avril, and that I should be paying attention, but whats more interesting? Avril Lavigne (A singer, who is amazingly talented and has a unique style) or maths? (no comment)
I have loved writing this, but should probably end now, so that I can edit some other things on my page. I love you so much Avril! I really hope one day you deside to come and do some concerts in New Zealand, I would definitly go and I would try and find out where your plane was landing so that I could come and meet you. It would be a dream come true. Thank You for inspriring me to be the best I can be and stay true to myself, oh and one more thing 'You're so beautiful, but thats not why I love you'.
