No problem. I was pretty sure you were not evil. I really don't know who you'd have to contact. I would recommend you go to http://www.theavrillavignefoundation.org/ and look for a contact on the home page. I don't want to rain on your parade but, between Avril's management and label, she has plenty of fund raising experts on her team. This is just a kind way of saying that I don't think you are going to have much luck. As a fan, I appreciate your attempt at doing something good.

Hi Laura. I have a couple of problems with your post. I'm guessing you are a well intentioned fan as opposed to being a professional profiteer and spammer. Even so, you don't have the legal right to manufacture merchandise bearing Avril's likeness without her permission. Even if you claim it is your intention to donate the profit to her foundation. By your own admission, you intend to keep the profit from one of the designs for your own benefit. You just can't do that. When you signed up for your fan account here you agreed to certain Terms and Conditions (which you probably didn't read) that specifically prohibit what you tried to do in this post and your blog post. One more thing, even posts that are allowed may only be posted once. You posted about this three times.

I'm not going to ban your account as I trust you won't make this mistake again.

I'm extremely sorry. I didn't mean to post so many times but it was my first time posting on the site, and I couldn't get it to actually post at first, so I tried different forums, I didn't realise I was posting it in each.
About the t-shirt, I didn't realise things were that strict, I actually read something online about the copyright of people, and I found that as long as you have permission from the 'photo owner/photographer) its okay to use, however, with photo's taken by the paparazzi, this doesn't apply, as these photo's are for public/media use. I wasn't aware I had to have permission from Avril Lavigne, although it did seem quite obvious I would, the copyright info told me otherwise, so I apologize, I obviously read the wrong thing or misinterpreted the words.
However, I would like to get permission, or at least put forward the idea for a design, and I was wondering if you knew how I go about that, I don't care ab
out the money, The Avril Foundation can have all the profit, after all, there are people that deserve it more than me, it was just put forward by several fans on Avril Bandaids, that I should take some profit, as I designed it. Hence why I created 2 designs, 1 for me, 1 for the foundation.

@Uncle Bob, so would it be illegal if I made a t shirt for myself with a picture of Avril on it with no intention of selling it or using it to make money in any way? Just wondering so I don't do anything illegal
