Horrible sound in Singapore
Hi, what happened at the concert last night in the Singapore indoor statium? The sound quality of Arvil's mike was horrible! You could see she was upset about it too trying to adjust it herself and giving instructions but nothing helped and it ruined an otherwise great performance! Fire the sound guys! (the fact that they over-fogged you was funny though)

@Don_-58 Yes, although to be fair some fan recordings aren't that bad. But the best way, it to either see her in the flesh or the official live DVD
sama here in Jakarta! horrible sound, but Avril was so AMAZING!
@Rachel 'Abbey-Dawn': Of course it will be different! Fan recordings are the absolute worst source to watch, you will hear the guy/girl singing more then you will hear Avril sing!! Most likely Avril will be so small to see as well and that the picture & sound quality is horrible!
On the other hand the official DVD is probably the best way to watch, amazing quality and you will get picture angles you can't possible get from being at the show yourself, including up close shots of Avril!
The coolest thing about going to the show yourself is that you get to see Avril without the need of a screen and the feeling that she is just a few meters away from you! Which is the main reason I would want to go!
@Don_-58 I have been very fortunate not to have a ahem, loudmouth next to me. But I just want to make it clear that when you do see her live, it is so different to watching someones recording.
@Rachel 'Abbey-Dawn': I understand what you are saying, the official recordings also cuts out fans voices really well. However if you have a loudmouth sitting somewhere near you, it could be a different story! When you have a generally crazy crowd it turns such an amazing show into a choir.....
@Don_-58 I'm sure people know they aren't as good as Avril. Besides, you can hear Avril clearly. I have seen her 3 times and have heard her perfectly everytime. Its on videos that people record where you can hear the fans singing along mostly not at the actual concert
I am pretty sure the horrible mike quality can't be worse then hearing other fans singing along with the songs. Seriously why can't people just stop singing along and just let the REAL artist sing the song alone (with backing vocals from the band when appropriate). When will they realise that singing along ruins the music, just sit back, relax and listen to Avril's beautiful voice. People need to know that their voice isn't as good as Avril's and that singing along ruins the song for others (which is my primary reason why I wouldn't go).
By the way it's "Avril" not "Arvil".
