ADMIN EDIT:

Sorry. I had to delete your link. I clicked on the link and the first thing I see on your homepage is a link to a phishing scam.

These types of internet promotions are totally bogus and nobody ever gets the "free" gift card. I'm just not willing to take the chance that one of our younger members might fall for it.

@Brendan - Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you on this. It's a holiday weekend here and I've been very busy. If you want my help, you going to have to download a new browser. If you insist on using Internet Explorer, you are on your own.  Internet Explorer is the slowest most troublesome browser that I know of.  You don't have to uninstall IE to install and use other browsers.

The most effective option for merely reading the content at bandaids is to download and use a browser called Opera. It is the fastest browser I've used. The thing I like about it for going to the bandaids site is, it allows you to disable JavaScript for individual sites. All the ads depend on Java. If you disable it, you will never see ANY of the ads or expose your computer to any of the viruses associated with them. The downside is, you won't be able to use any of the tools that depend on Java such as smilies or the tool-bar that adds the BBC code for adding pics etc. To disable JavaScript, go to bandaids and hit the F12 key. That will open the settings menu. You will then select "Edit Site Preferences" at the bottom of that menu. Then, click on the "Scripting" tab. Now, uncheck the "Enable JavaScript" box and click OK. Once you refresh the page or go to a different bandaids page, you will NEVER see another ad. One important tip when installing Opera. You will be given the option of "custom" or "express" installation. You should select "custom". This will allow you to install Opera without making it your "default browser". If you like Opera that much, you can do that later.

Another option is to download and use the Mozilla Firefox browser. If you select this option, you will be able to leave JavaScipt enabled and avoid better than 95% of the ads by installing an add-on called "Adblock Plus".

@Brendan - If you would like to be able to visit bandaids safely (no viruses) and without it crashing your computer, I can tell you how.
