Amelia Lily sings I'm With You on the X Factor (UK)
If your not from the UK, you won't know about her. But one of the contestants sang Avril's I'm With You. I think she did ok, maybe she butchered it a little, but not a bad attempt. Anyway, this is pretty good for Avril too, as I'm With You has entered the UK iTunes charts and is now at #28!! And I love what one of the judges says, "That is one of my favourite songs of all time and I would be worried for anyone to sing it the way Avril sings it, but you pulled it off. That song is a story and you sung it like you were telling a story…well done". Haha, she is clearly an Avril fan. Also, in USA X factor news, Avril got mentioned AGAIN, Paula Abdul mentioned that one of the contestants should sing "an upbeat song like a Kelly Clarkson or Avril Lavigne song".

than at prehistoric group the "Rainbow".

I say Christina was better once again, mainly because her stage presence was just amazing. She also performed better than Amelia, and the stage production of her performance was also more interesting. Not to mention she got 4 perfect comments from the judges, whilst Amelia didn't.
As far as the voice goes, it is debatable but I still think Christina is superior because she is more consistent.
Despite all diligence of Emilija and Christina, the girls should sing own songs,only so they will be a success.
But I will listen to a song "I'm With You" only performed by Avril Lavigne.
In my ear-phones it is the best variant of song.
Singing of these two fine performers I will forget in a week.Alas!
If I have to choose between the two "apprentice artists", I chose Amelia!
I have yet to watch all of Amelia Lily's performances, but I will soon! However Christina's I'm With You wasn't exactly her best performance either! So I am still confident Christina is the better singer, besides she is only 15!
@Rachel: Yes many people have seen the resemblance, but Christina herself denies that!
I think Amelia Lily compared to Christina Parie has got a lot more power to her voice. Both are still excellent singers though

Christina Parie was brilliant, but I think Amelia Lily did it better because she has a more powerful voice. If you check out some of the other performances she has done, she is a very good singer.
But let's not get into a forum fight here

@Don_-58, also a good performance, I like it. To sing live on stage isn't easy, also Avril is there not always perfect, especially when "I'm with you".

Christina Parie - perfectly sings,
but Amelia Lily sings this song is better.
The only thing I like about this performance was the stage, but everything else was just meh...
Sorry UK citizens, I hope I don't start a war but Christina Parie from X-Factor Australia sang I'm With You way better!

it is a good interpretation, but it is not extraordinary. I wait to hear her own compositions to give my final opinion
@goodbyelullaby123 Its been the 3rd Avril song sang on the x factor, Girlfriend and GF Remix being the others.
Cool, I think Amelia Lily's a really good singer and this was a good effort.
I'm With You's quite a popular song to sing on singing contests like this!
