@Gradlon: Yeah you definitely spend a lot of time here, you joined this forum 3 weeks after I did and you have already posted like 3 times the amount I have posted.....

I love spending time in This Forum though, unlike many other forums everyone here is very nice! In many other forums you will find lots of swearing, Profanity, Criticism, Bashing and constant arguments between users.....

Ahahah, you're partially right! It is true that I am often on this forum, but the list of users can be misleading, if my profile is on the first line: yes, otherwise no! Wink

@Gradlon: Haha I was just wandering if you ever go to bed, since you seem to be here 24/7.

Ok I'll tell you more tomorrow because it's getting late for me! There is a lag of 10 hours between us Wink

@Gradlon: 50 AUD is fine, as long as the product is in good condition! Can't expect it to be in brand new condition though.....

@Don 58
I easily found used in excellent condition, is this what you'd be interested?
I think with the postage you would have for 50 AUD at the most Smile

Strange that this version is not sold in Australia, here are photos of this version:

You can always try to find on websites like Ebay
Finally do not forget that DVDs are zoned, so if you do not have region free DVD player worth more than you give up ... Smile

@Gradlon: OK and how do I get my hands on that? I don't remember a special edition of Under My Skin being released in Australia. I have never seen it in stores even when the Album was just released. I have like 3 copies of Under My Skin and they are all the Normal Editions. I know iTunes also only has the Normal Edition!

In fact I don't think that there were any Special/Deluxe/Limited Editions of any Avril Albums being sold in Australia except for the Goodbye Lullaby Deluxe Edition, which I was really surprised to see! I bought the TBDT Special Edition through iTunes which was fortunately available in the Australian iTunes Store, although it was all the Clean Versions unfortunately. I had to buy the Explicit Versions as separate singles.

It would be a dream come true if I could buy that! But right now I just don't know how to or if I still can now!

@Don_-58:
If you want to legally obtain the music video for "He Wasn't". You have one solution: you must buy "Under My Skin Special Edition" Smile
This special edition includes such 4 bonus live tracks Wink
But above all, a bonus DVD of music videos including "Don't Tell Me", "My Happy Ending", "Nobody's Home" and especially "He Wasn't" Smile

@Gradlon: umm, OK after seeing both version's of He Wasn't The official one was definitely better, I really don't see what is soo offensive about it? Is there a 3rd one now? I really want to be able to buy the Official Video of He Wasn't on iTunes now but is isn't there!!! Damn I really want my own personal copy!

@Uncle Bob: Cool Music Video, Wish I could buy it in iTunes......

hum..I meant "between fan"... Laughing out loud

Anything from nothing, we must help each fan (while staying within the law of course) Smile
There are plenty of good things to find on this website...
On this site you will also find the concert (track by track) that Avril Lavigne played in Paris on July 6, 2004. For information, this concert should have been having a DVD of it which was finally canceled. Wink

And finally a link that works for me Laughing out loud I have this "He wasn't" version never seen before. Thanks Fred Smile

@Uncle Bob:
For the last music video, I always thought it was a fake, this video is from a TV show, especially since it is a version of it with the voice of Avril Lavigne and her band playing in playback ... Until I see it three times on a French TV channel!
T

@Gradlon Thanks for the link. It's hard to imagine anyone found the other version offensive. The original version of the "He Wasn't" is my all time favorite music video. And, I've seen a lot of music videos. I can never watch it just once. I usually have to watch it at least four times.

@Uncle Bob:
Thanks for the link Wink

It was registered December 18, 2002. The video was shot while "Mobile" was still serve as a successor to "Sk8er Boi". Finally, "I'm With You" was selected as the third single from Let Go and the idea of exploiting Mobile has been abandoned, as the clip has been unveiled to fans later by Avril !

He wasn't :
There are two verions of the first music video, the one where she is seen wearing butterfly wings...
And a completely different version, probably to respond the censorship rules in force in some countries, here is a link:
http://www.wat.tv/video/avril-lavigne-he-wasn-second-36pcj_2i6sr_.html

Many Thanks

@Gradlon: There were 3 for He Wasn't? I didn't know that, never really looked into that one. But for Mobile, it was never officially released, I heard that it was only half complete!

@Don 58
For "He Wasn't" did you know that there are three official music videos? Wink
Itunes also has never sold the official music video for "Mobile " Smile

@Gradlon: True enough, there are many things out there not available to buy, or just not available to some countries. Mainly B-Sides and hidden items, I find it strange that some music videos aren't available to buy on iTunes, such as He Wasn't and Alice (Both of which I haven't watched fully because I couldn't buy them!). Sometimes singles aren't available to buy at all in some countries as well! Which does annoy the hell out of me! I just hope Smile and the Music Video will be available for Australia to purchase.

So I guess as long as everybody does their best to buy everything they can, and they know what they are doing it should be fine!

Certainly, I have all CD's and more of Avril Too Smile

All legal platforms enable music listening instead to financially compensate the losses associated with piracy.

In other hand you know like me not everything is on iTunes, there is some missing official music videos Laughing out loud

@Gradlon: OK fine, maybe it is legal. But there is no argument about the fact that if everyone opened their wallets to listen to Music, it will be a lot better for the whole Music industry and Avril gets more money if people buy!

Don_-58:
But it is you who misunderstand me! There is absolutely nothing illegal to watch a music video on Youtube! Otherwise this site would close for ages! Over again as the Uncle Bob also noted that artists receive their royalties to each viewing! There are no losers ...
To listen to a track in streaming on Deezer for example, the artist receives 30 cents Euros ($ 0,40)!

Well I said what I needed to say, so just keep what I say in mind. But of course in the end it your choice, I can't physically stop you from doing illeagal things.

I think Youtube is one of the ways to promote emerging artists as confirmed.

It was not so long ago, Miss R. (Laughing out loud) posted on this forum in the topic "Is it on your Ipod" the name of the song "Thats What You Get" by Paramore. Band I did not know. I viewed some of their music videos on YouTube, gained by their qualities I buy all their albums! Smile

Uncle Bob:
Thank you for your clarification, I feel less alone!

@Don_-58 What about the people who listen to the radio and never buy a CD? Are they freeloaders too? Did you know, it is totally legal to record songs from the radio and put them on your Ipod? What about that?

@Uncle Bob: Well I guess Youtube is fine if you just listen to it there (Provided That The Uploader is Avril Herself or her Recording Company), but it isn't fine if you download the link and put the song into your iPod for you to listen whenever you want, You should only put songs that you ripped from your very own CD (Not Your Friend's CD) or ones that you purchased from iTunes yourself in your iPod!

The fact that Youtube pays Avril is great, but the people who just listen to Youtube aren't contributing to the sales or the Certification Ranks. So all in all it would still be better if people opened their wallets to listen to music and to own the music! Also means more profit for Avril!

@Don_-58 I have to strongly disagree with you. There are plenty of legal ways to listen to music. Youtube is just one of them. What makes it legal is youtube pays artist royalties. They paid Avril two million dollars for "Girlfriend" alone.

I really strongly believe Youtube is an Evil source! The only legal way of listening to a song for free is only if it is playing on the Radio. Besides as a Fan who wouldn't want to own real copies of Avril's albums and be a part of the Total Sales!

Do people who pirate feel good about what they did? Do they feel that they are true Fans? Do they know that what they are doing is wrong, that it is a crime?

Always thing about those questions before you Pirate! Like I say you don't have to be like me who has multiple copies of Avril's Albums and Stuff, along with Digital Copies of all albums from iTunes as well.

If you just have 1 copy of each album, thats perfectly fine and is what normal fans would have! Even if you don't buy any it is still acceptable as long as you DON'T STEAL THEM!

Rachel 'Abbey-Dawn':
Yes I do too, especially with Itunes Smile
I just wanted to point out that there are legal means to listen to free music while rewarding the artist in question.
For example, with Deezer, the artist receives 30 cents per song and listen.
I think it's the same with Vevo on YouTube. Smile

@Gradlon Yes, I always buy CDs or purchase single songs on itunes.

@all:
Hack it to hurt the artists!
There are currently several different legal way to listen to free music, while rewarding the artist in question by agreeing to watch a few ads. Example: Deezer ... Wink

Yeah, as @Don_-58 DON'T STEAL!

Please do not Pirate Avril's music, REAL Fans will always pay for them! I mean I have multiple copies of all her albums, singles and stuff! It's good because it contributes to Avril's Sales a Lot.

Of course I have lots of money to spare, but even if you don't, at least buy some! Or if you really don't have the resources to spend, thats fine as long as you DON'T get them for Free!!!!!

First, Listen on Youtube, and if love it...
Second, Buy on Itunes Or Another way if you have the resources Laughing out loud

Youtube? Or buy them on iTunes?

You have Youtube for this! Smile

@Gradlon: Yup! I have never seen this Special Edition in stores here...... When I went to buy GL I did ask the sales manager if they have any sort of Special/Deluxe Editions of LG, UMS or TBDT and he believes that such things don't exist, but he still checked it on the computer and found nothing! He also said that Australia didn't have Special Editions for most Music Albums, Movies or even Games for that matter until 2008 - 2009, which if I think back, it did make sense. Since ALL of my Music/Movies/Games released back then were all Normal Editions.

He said that there is a possibility that what I was looking for isn't available in Australia and that I should look for it online. Like Ebay..... But I am not soo keen in buying from Ebay since I remember a while ago that my brother purchased items from Ebay a few times and one time he didn't even received the item and another time the item was damaged and in poor condition...... But if I can find this is Ebay I will consider it!

As for the DVD Player, well I am using a PS3 and a Blu-Ray Player now, which I am quiet sure they are region free.
