Avril said she will begin working on her 5th album in January
In a recent radio interview Avril discusses her french roots and 5th album.

Yes, a tour DVD world be excellent. Blu - Ray would be even better! 3D would be best!
She's working only on your 5th album. If I'm correctly informed, Avril had 8 songs finished.

Yeah, I would also like to have a release of a DVD for The Black Star Tour. Gotta love her live version of the song Black Star.
We must be patient, we'll see the qualities of this new album when it comes out!

Dang, I thought the single Wish You Were Here is gonna be released this month. Anyways, I'm definitely looking forward to her next album.
Nice Interview, I am hoping she will release her first new single by the end of this year! But I am not expecting anything, I hope that the new album will be released by the end of 2012 or earlier! It shouldn't take her long as Rachel said she already knows her lead single and has more than half the album written.
@Ants319 I don't think it will, Avril said she wanted to release it really fast and she already has a song for the first single and 8 songs
Hopefully it wont take long after january for it to come out.
so excited for her 5th album...can't wait.
Maybe a late spring/early summer single
